Sarah Lambie

Country: England

Bio

Sarah Lambie discovered Ella Fitzgerald at the age of 12 and never looked back. She joined the National Youth Jazz Orchestra at 15 and sang with them until she went to Cambridge University. During her time at Cambridge, she performed with Pembroke College Chapel Choir and was the vocalist for the Cambridge University Jazz Orchestra as well as singing with Fitzswing and many smaller jazz ensembles. Sarah’s performing experience extends to classical and musical theatre, and to operetta as well: she has played the lead in two new musicals at The Edinburgh Fringe, and at the Minack Theatre in Cornwall. Having completed her degree at Cambridge, trained for two years as an actress at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and achieved her ABRSM Diploma in singing, Sarah now regularly perfoms with The Philharmonia Chorus and the Holst Singers in London. She is available for bookings with either piano accompaniment or with a full jazz group.
